New Things
The world is filled with new rules, all designed to keep our community safe. But there’s also a lot of exciting beginnings happening, too. Whether it’s furry faces, fresh artworks, or even just a new wellness routine, there’s something for everyone to look forward to. And if you’re looking for something new, come explore our new Clean Market, the perfect modern wellness destination!
Old Things
The things we love about BFPL haven’t changed. We’re still home to iconic city views—indoors and out. With community-focused artworks, scenic city views, and those iconic palm trees, BFPL remains a great place to visit with your family and friends. Come grab a coffee at Le District and enjoy the atmosphere you’ve been missing.
The Same Great Events, but With a New Twist
Along with our reopening comes a renewed dedication to bringing you the best performances and events that this strange new world has to offer. Take a quick trip to one of our safe, socially distanced musical performances, or stay at home and continue to attend our groundbreaking digital engagements. They’re all completely free with advanced registration.
#BFPLAtHome Is Still Going
If you think you missed us, we missed you more. So even as we reopen, follow along with Brookfield online, where we’re offering a weekly dose of online programming from easy recipes to trivia showdowns. You can even print out Brookfield-themed coloring pages featuring some of your favorite BFPL locations. And don’t forget to keep up with us on Instagram @BFPLNY!
Keeping You Safe
Masks are required throughout BFPL, and we encourage our guests to maintain social distancing by keeping six feet between them and their fellow shoppers. We’re offering curbside, contactless pickup at participating shops. We’ve also limited our elevators to four visitors at a time, and our escalator handrails are UV-sterilized – so you should have no qualms about getting around a little bit quicker! You can even access COVID testing onsite, with our Carbon Health location.
Help Us Help NYC Restaurants
As the city that never sleeps continues the process of waking up, many of New York’s best restaurants are struggling to stay in business. To help them, we’ve compiled a digital cookbook full of recipes and tips from some of our favorite Brookfield eateries. All of the proceeds will go to benefit Relief Opportunities for All Restaurants (ROAR). Your purchase also makes you eligible for a gift card at participating restaurants!
All In NYC
The last six months have made New York a far quieter place than it’s ever been before. Now, as we begin to decide what our post-quarantine world is going to look like, New York’s communal gathering places play a pivotal role. This is a city made for connection. Until we can connect properly again, we’ll continue to provide the same great service you’ve come to expect from us, with an added layer of safety and security in these difficult times.
“The New Normal”
Life looks a lot different than it did this time last year, but you can still mask up and join old friends for happy hour by the waterfront or a stroll through the shops. We’ve got the same good eats and great views you love, too. And the Statue of Liberty hasn’t gone anywhere.
