Brookfield Properties has compiled a digital cookbook to benefit Relief Opportunities For All Restaurants (ROAR) during this unprecedented time of hardship for the food community. Featuring recipes, cooking tips, and anecdotes from favorite New York culinary spots located in Brookfield Place and in Brookfield Properties across the city, this playful collection is designed to feed your hunger for these restaurants until we can dine together again. As a thank you for donating, we have an extra little gift waiting for you, too.

A peek inside the book

About the Book

From Black Seed Bagels’ primer on how to compose the perfect bagel sandwich to a chocolate astrology chart from Gabriel Kreuther, the master of Alsatian cuisine, to sweetgreen’s handy guide on how to make any salad better, this book is packed with fun tips to keep you in tip-top culinary shape until you are ready to dine out again.

Give a Little, Get a Lot

One-hundred percent of your donation (less any transaction fees) will benefit ROAR, which gives back directly to workers and restaurants affected by COVID.

As a thank you for supporting this cause, we have a little gift for you, too. As our restaurants open up and safely welcome you back for dining, we’ll treat you to a gift card when you visit one of our participating eateries for a meal — whether you’re dining in or ordering to go! When you spend at least $20 on fast-casual food or $100 at a dine-in restaurant, you’ll receive a gift card to use on a return visit. Download the cookbook, above, to learn more.

About ROAR

Relief Opportunities For All Restaurants (ROAR) is a new non-profit that was established as a response to the hardships faced by New York City restaurants during the pandemic. ROAR has partnered with Robin Hood to create a New York City Restaurant Employee Relief Fund. Robin Hood’s mission is to create economic mobility for New Yorkers living in poverty. We are New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization. For over thirty years, we’ve been finding, fueling and creating the most impactful and scalable solutions to lift families out of poverty. We partner with over 250 nonprofits to support food, housing, education, legal services, workforce development, and more to New Yorkers living in poverty across all five boroughs.
