Get cozy over a glass of wine or craft cocktail

Picking a cute date spot can be intimidating at best and stress-inducing at worst. And while there are a lot of different things to consider (most importantly: does your date drink?), you usually can’t go wrong by suggesting a cute place with an even cuter happy hour deal. After all, who doesn’t like reasonably priced drinks and snacks? Below, some spots that are sure to set the scene for a perfect date—results not guaranteed.

Seamore’s

This local New York chain has a seriously amazing, “4, 5, 6” happy hour: well drinks, draft beer, and house wines are $4 at 4 p.m., $5 at 5 p.m., and so on. In addition to their solid drink prices, Seamore’s also discounted snacks—think avocado fritters, hush puppies, and calamari—during their happy hour. Stop by between 4 and 7 on weekdays for the cute ambience and date-friendly drink specials.

Le District

If you’re looking to impress your date with your knowledge of French or French wines, then Le District’s happy hour is a perfect choice for a date night. At Le Bar, wine and beer are offered at reduced prices Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., and $1 oysters make for a perfectly affordable aphrodisiac. The wine bar also has a happy hour special every Tuesday, where you can snag a glass of “rare” wine for $15 a pop.

Blue Ribbon Sushi

Got a date who loves seafood? Blue Ribbon Sushi’s happy hour is a perfect option for date night—from 4 to 7 p.m. every day, the restaurant offers 2 for $7 Asahi beer, and 2 for $9 small servings of sake. If you get hungry, Blue Ribbon Sushi also has a happy hour handroll special—$5 for tuna, salmon, yellowtail, blue crab, and avocado & cucumber.

Tartinery

French restaurant Tartinery is sure to bring the cute date night vibes, and they’ve got a stellar happy hour special as well. From 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, the restaurant offers 2 for 1 beer, wine and champagne deals. If you’re looking for a classy way to get a little tipsy with that special someone, Tartinery’s got your back.

Parm

Unsurprisingly, Italian-American restaurant Parm’s specialty is, well, chicken parm. With made-from-scratch offerings that vary from the famous chicken parm to meatballs, pasta, and everything in between, Parm is a cute and quirky choice for a date night. Most importantly, they’ve got an enticing happy hour special: $6 wine, beer and cocktails from 4–7 p.m. on weeknights, perfect for washing down your spaghetti and meatballs.

Northern Tiger

Craving dumplings or Northern Chinese-style noodles? Head to Northern Tiger for some delicious Chinese comfort food, as well as a killer happy hour deal. Weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m., you can snag $4 draft beers and $6 for 6/$10 for 10 dumplings. If you’re looking to impress an adventurous eater, check out Northern Tiger.
