Halloween Bash

Brookfield Place is excited to welcome back the Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 29, 2022 between 12:00 – 3:00 PM!

Bring your costume-clad kids for a fang-tastic afternoon of activities and trick-or-treating throughout Brookfield Place. Be dazzled by performances featuring Jester Jim, Snooknuk, and Mad Science. Watch Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie and Hotel Transylvania in Hudson Eats while enjoying food or treats from one of the many eateries.

Trick or treat at your favorite shops and stores throughout Brookfield Place: Adam Lippes, Allen Edmonds, Bottega Veneta, Cos Bar, Clean Market, Dry Bar, Gucci, Lululemon, Louis Vuitton, Madewell, Michael Kors, Norwegian Wool, Oliver Peoples, Omega, The News Stand, Tory Burch, The Wonder, and Wolford.

Step right up to Dino Tarot with The Wonder, where the resident clairvoyant dinosaur will look into their crystal ball, tarot cards, or the tangled vines of their own brain to predict such fortunes as having ice cream every day from now until forever!

Leading up to the Halloween Bash from October 24-29, Ursa Minor, a 12-ft tall infinity mirror bear by American contemporary artist Jen Lewin, will make its NYC public debut in the Winter Garden.

The sculpture is free-standing and engages onlookers with its colorful flower and interactive LED light choreography. Inspired by the dazzling natural phenomena of Polaris and its constellation Ursa Minor, the sculpture’s multi-paneled infinity mirrored body illuminates, conveying emotions of amazement, wonder and exploration and reminding us to “Look Up.”

Ursa Minor opens on Monday, October 24, 12:00pm and closes at 3pm on Saturday, October 29 after the Halloween Bash.

ABOUT JEN LEWIN

Jen Lewin is an internationally recognized Artist – Engineer based in Brooklyn, New York. Over her 27-year career, Lewin has honed her architectural background and a highly technical medium to fabricate large-scale, interactive, public sculptures that encourage community interaction and play. Uniting nature and technology, Lewin thinks beyond traditional media to create connected human experiences that bring vibrancy to public spaces. Existing at the intersection of art, technology, and community, her sculptures underscore the ripple effects that each individual has on their community and habitat, the energy of human connection, and the power of collective action.
