Community Quilt Project
Until Wednesday 3/6
12 - 5pm
230 Vesey Shops
ace&jig founders Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson built their slow fashion label to create modern heirlooms that are a sustainable celebration of handcrafted design.
Their Community Quilt Project is an extension of their commitment to a no waste process and to support the maker communities keeping handcraft traditions alive. Last year, Cary and Jenna put out a call for creatives across the country to turn bundles of leftover ace&jig textile scraps into quilt squares of their own design. The result was more than 450 one-of-a-kind quilt squares that have been transformed into collaborative handmade quilts.
