4/15
12:30-1:00pm
@BFPLNY Instagram Live

The year 2020 was like no other, and we found ourselves pressing pause, pivoting, disconnecting, and disengaging. Moving forward in 2021, we are coming up for air and figuring out how we press play on our lives.

This year’s Food for Thought digital series will focus on topics in pursuit of three goals – to restart, revive, and reconnect. Join the conversation on April 15 at 12:30PM ET on @BFPLNY’s Instagram Live, when interior stylist and writer Dominique Gebru (@dommdotcom) will join Cathryn Linn of The Organizing Organization (@theorganizingorg), to discuss:

  • How to turn your home into a haven.
  • Undertaking easy DIY projects that will transform your dwelling.
  • How to make the most of a small space.
  • And more!

Dominique Gebru is an interior stylist, design writer and social media entrepreneur based in Washington D.C. Her approach to homemaking is inspired by the aspirational and deeply rooted in the attainable. She’s been described as “the most relatable influencer you’ll ever meet,” and originally hails from Northern California.

Cathryn Linn is the owner and founder of The Organizing Organization, LLC. As a creative-minded person, Cathryn learned organizational skills early in life because she found a tidy, well-labeled environment contributed to a successful creative flow and process. As she grew older, she found organization to have plenty of other benefits, including mental and physical health benefits, and committed her life to sharing those benefits with others through The Organizing Organization. The Organizing Org focuses on aesthetically pleasing organization and design. She has worked with interior designers, artists, individuals, and families so they too can benefit from an organized environment and focus on the more important aspects of life.
