FEATURING:

SATURDAY, JANUARY 11

10am | Joanie Leeds: Life clicked into place for Joanie Leeds upon realizing that when she was with children, they transformed themselves into amazing creatures of joy, forgetting how to hold back. Seeing the kids get in touch with their true selves gave Joanie a sense of fulfillment that far surpassed playing for adults on the club circuit. The songs that Leeds began turning out reflected this sense that life is a joyful adventure.

11am | Wonderspark Puppets: Founded in 2009 by husband and wife duo Z. Briggs and Chad Williams, WonderSpark Puppets performs for New York City audiences of all ages and is proud to continue the tradition of non-moving-mouth hand puppets, aka “Mister Rogers style.” From birthday parties to libraries, NYC shops and school classrooms, WonderSpark’s flexibility allows them to perform in any space.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 18

10am | Carl Banks: Carl Banks is a melodic nomad, often picking up lyrical ideas from adventures found after scratching the rambling itch. With an open-minded ear for good storytelling and without bias for genre, Carl pools his influences from a wide variety of artists, and is most comfortable with guitar in hand and blues harp in the rack, playing for 1 to 1000.

11am | Magic Evan: Meet the NYC magician who will have your kids falling over with laughter and thanking you for the ‘best time ever!’ Early on in life, Magic Evan was struck by the idea that performing magic was like giving someone a gift: when it’s done right, it can be a truly memorable and remarkable experience. His goal is to have both children and adults leave his shows beaming with delight and having experienced pure astonishment.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 25

10am | Shira Kobren: Shira Kobren’s concerts are always rockin’ interactive extravaganzas! Combining her own original tunes with classics, Shira plays a mix of hand-clap-able, sing-along-able, danceable, always smile-inducing music that has audience members of all ages becoming part of the show.

11am | Jester Jim: This is not your ordinary juggling show!” Kids and adults alike will be talking about Jester Jim’s wild antics for weeks!

Performers for other weeks to be announced.
