Beach Read Book Club

Portside is the place to pick up FREE copies of the most talked about beach reads of the summer! Visit our Boat Bar Library at Portside, located on the Waterfront Plaza at Brookfield Place and enjoy a complimentary library of free books. Books will be placed out for the public to enjoy and the public is invited to take a book while supplies last. One book per person. The first book drop will feature books from Harper’s BAZAAR Best Beach Reads of 2022 list.

Ahoy Matey! Join Brookfield Place as we learn one of the most essential lessons for life at sea – Knot Tying! Children of all ages will be taught about all different kinds of knots, how to tie them and what they are best for by a sailing instructor from North Cove Sailing. Each participant will walk home with a knot tying how-to card and rope for at home practice!
